Welcome to Org Teaching Addict: Simple Organisation Tips for Teachers

Image
A quick answer: Org Teaching Addict is a blog for teachers who want simple, practical ways to stay organised — classroom setup, weekly planning, and small systems that save time. Everything here is written in plain language, with steps you can try in a real classroom, not just in theory. Updated: 5 November 2026. This is general teaching and organisation information only, not professional advice. A tidy classroom is not about perfection — it is about knowing where things are. What is this blog about? Image
A quick answer: Plan the whole week in one short session, using a single page for the week and a folder for each day. Put the main lessons in first, then add the smaller jobs around them. Check the plan each morning, change it when you need to, and keep Friday free for finishing up. A simple weekly plan saves time because you only decide things once. Updated: 5 November 2026. This is general teaching and organisation information only, not professional advice. One planning session a week is  enough — if the plan is simple and realistic. Why plan the whole week at once? Planning day by day means deciding the same things again and again: what to teach, what materials to prepare, and what to do first. Planning the whole week at once means you decide once, and then you follow the plan. A weekly plan helps because: You can see the whole week. You know which days are busy and which are lighter. You can spread the work out. A heavy day can be followed by a lighter one. You are ...
